Lighthouses


Cape Blanco Lighthouse
The Cape Blanco lighthouse is the oldest continually operating lighthouse on the coast of Oregon. It has a lot of historical background which you can find out about HERE. Cape Blanco lighthouse is located 6 miles north of Port Orford.

Below are two other area lighthouses in America's Wild River Coast that should not be overlooked.



St. George Lighthouse
Eight miles out in the Pacific off Crescent City, CA is the St. George Lighthouse which was built in 1891 in response to a tragic shipwreck that took many lives. Helicopter transportation from October through June. 80 miles south of Port Orford.




Battery Point Lighthouse
Another Lighthouse with a lot of history, the Battery Point lighthouse is available for public tour. 86 miles south of Port Orford.
